i hate it when people who aren't that good at figuring things out ask me specific questions about movies after they intentionally walked away and expect me to fill in the holes for them.

example, i was watching Pirates of the Caribbean the other night with my father, he left during the whole conversation where jack sparrow explains to fancy-pants elf-boy actor who bootstrap was and all that stuff... fairly important stuff and he just gets up, leaves it playing and then comes back asking what happened...

maybe i'm just being bitchy here, but the point of watching movies and to have good screenplays is so that someone appreciates you knowing only certain things at certain times... that movie may not be a great example, but think if it was Sixth Sense or something. as a matter of fact, i think he did that on that one too.

and i REALLLY hate people that talk to me during movies. actually, strike that, i don't mind it if its at home or the second time/plus that i've seen it, but if its like the first time i'm seeing a movie in the theater, god thats annoying, espically when the movie is good (ie- Return of the King)

wow. its been a while since i wrote something worthy of reading.
don't misunderstand me, this isn't going to be worthy of reading... seriously.

or maybe so.

a lot of crap has happened over the last two weeks... i'll do my best to sum it up.

i won't get into booty from christmas, cause it seems like just bragging and stuff and i don't need to do that, i already know i'm lucky for what i have... that said, i got me mario kart for gamecube. and its like the best game of mario kart evar. but seriously, i've been playing it wayyyy too much now. that and i got back into counter strike again... not for too long though. moving right along though....

uhh... friday i earned a realllly crappy mood from lack of sleep, then somehow managed to pull it together so that a large group of us could hang out and watch movies with a variety of people. (lilitusama, randomwolfe, joe4sale, jupiterschild, nytebaby and myself. i still feel kinda bad about it cause i had to basically specifically cancel on dave who i was supposed to hang out with at some point on friday. we ended up watching Nothing to Lose with tim robbins and martin lawrence... i like that movie. everyone left by like 1am, i didn't drive jen back to philly till 5am... hence the entry about being up 22 hours the other day

the next night i conceded to hang out with dave and eric, along with becca, joe and jess again. we went and saw Big Fish... i had a doubt or two, dave had a lot... but damn was it a good movie. i mean, really touching... then we went and drank. fun.

next few days were kind of a blur... mostly of just sitting around playing games, and working.
speaking of which, work the past few days has been intresting... i keep getting let out of work early... like today we were told we could leave at like 10:30... odd. so i worked from about 8-11:30 today. that was just crazy... since i'm salary and all.

so now i have off the next two days (4 day weekend, WOO!!)

and thats really about all i have to say.

my first sentance is supposed to set the mood for this entry, but i don't feel like it anymore.
wow. so the first sentance is a lazy sentance. which means we're getting a lot of run-on sentances in here... oh wait, thats about par for the course.

ANYHOW...

life has been pretty quiet of late for me... i've been working my ass off to try and be nice to some people.

ok, well i started this last night, but got side tracked by jen calling me and we chatted for far too long past my bedtime.
yea, nytebaby is in town and i'm all sorts of happy, though a little upset cause the only real day we can hang out is friday night... damn the holidays.

ok, so yea, last nights game went pretty well... i'm not that good at doing the summary thing, but i'll do my best.
i made Grok (terry's character) an NPC and made him run around with a small security detail to fix most of the problem so i had a decent excuse to cut the long running adventure a little shorter. The other three adventurers, lefty (Kevin), GDMY-66 (Jim), and Gara (Joe) all went to take care of some other loose ends. after repairing the bottom most two problems and then getting their asses kicked by a robot on the lowest level, they regrouped with Grok to kinda see where things stood. with only one loose end (the robot on b5 failing again overnight) they went down to investigate and found a storage container for the doctor (you know, the supposedly dead one?) that was in use. In there, everyone got some ass handed to them, and the only person that about died was terry, but that was odd cause i was missing everyone else. but he didn't die (i wouldn't have let him die anyhow, thats a major no-no in my book - killing a character when the player isn't there.)
so to make a long story short, the doctor hadn't really died, it was the assistant that was dead in the room. so yea, there was also a undeveloped plot about dogs and rats being cross bred for military purposes, but that kinda got mostly ignored as everything was mainly made better with the capture of the culprit.
woo. there you go.

as far as me, i love the lord of the rings trilogy, i hate trivial pursuit now, and i started replaying suikoden. go figure.

2 days till christmas and all my shopping is done. my brother, the drinkycrow, better step it up.

meh. i just got done with a pretty bad day, but the piano music is calming me down a lot.

leaving it as is, my day consisted of a lot of crappy parts that i will neglect to mention, least of which i now have red food coloring all over my hands... which isn't really bad, it just pretty much sums up the day.

work was just kinda testy, it seems like everything i do in terms of work with this one particular computer keeps coming back to haunt me... it won't fix. bah, that always happens.
uhm... this weekend was pretty cool... nothing too special, i'm mostly positive that i won't be invited back to demian's house again. i don't know, i think i was a bit over the top. that said, i had fun at that little party thing... i know now that i suck at trivial pursuit, and i'll avoid it in the future.

uhm... i rented Dungeons and Dragons : Heroes for Xbox... which is mighty kick ass... i'll have to get back to that and beat it before i have to return it late friday.

speaking of getting back to that, i don't know when i'm going to have time, cause i have NO free time this week or next, and i'm concerned cause i'm ignoring key friends that kinda need some attenion, and i STILL haven't started my xmas shopping... GAH!!

well i'll have time before i go to the midnight show. DAMMMMMMIT joe has to call me. i don't know what time we're meeting

I don't remember the last thing I wrote in here... I suppose I should go look at that now...
ok, I did it, but it made little sense as to where I need to pick up.

I’ll start with the week again.
Monday - i went to the gym with joe, then I ran my Monday game. it actually did go quite well. I had a lot of fun running it and am looking forward to the next few weeks of running it. it was funny cause i left like everything at home that i needed to run it, but somehow i managed.
Tuesday - my niece Kyra was born. but I wrote about that briefly.. went to the hospital to visit. it was nice. my nephew was running ragged from no sleep for like 12 hours or something. uhh... i had mcdonalds for dinner?
wednesday - uhhh.... got too lazy to go to the gym and i... uhhh... what the hell did i do on wednesday? its really crappy that i can't remember. yea, really. i didn't go to the gym... i remember that much.... i... dammit. i think i was just lazy and beat XIII that night.
thursday - worked, heard about snow coming, got paid early, uhh... stayed home and didn't go see my nephew on his birthday... i am such a bum of an uncle. then i tried to watch the horrible VGA awards on spike, but they just hurt too much. but then rebecca came over and we watched death to smoochy. (the VGA thing just reminded me that i was missing the commies)
friday - oh screw this. i'm not concentrating. ok, friday i got out early from work due to snow and came home and shovelled the driveway a lot. i slept a lot too... like a lot. really. a lot. and didn't go to the gym due to snow
saturday - i went out with joe to the gym, for dinner then over to dave pud's and shot the shit for several hours.
sunday... yea. much like every other sunday... john and co came over for a visit, i proudly snuck into a site and stole picutres of my neice that we're supposed to pay for. i'm good, what can i say

well now i'm going to write some bills, watch triumph perform on the commies, and then maybe watch the returner.
ugh. i will break my streak of not writing in here. i vow that.

taking note - its 1:30 in the morning and i really should be asleep so i can get up on time for work tomorrow, but alas, i cannot without putting down this awkward weekend into a journal like format.

side note #1 - as a strange coincidence, Echoes in the Darkness was on Lifetime today.

so this past week has proven to be an intresting one for me.
on monday night i finally got to make characters for the monday game i'm supposed to start running... in about 18 hours....yup. fun. i also managed to give a small course on the d20 system, which seems to be going well. (i'm teaching combat tomorrow night it seems) and my some miracle, i made it to the gym before this game.

the next day, i found myself roleplaying that good old superhero game run by joe, but with some strangely kooky things going on, which just can't be explained without too much detail. all i need to say is that we learned something about christina aguilera's videos tuesday night.

wednesday was a night short day at work, with a bunch of content being thrown in the middle to make it move quicker. after work, i went with my coworkers Pete and Brian to the bridgeport ribhouse for some drinks and a late lunch, which kicked much ass. it was good to finally go out and socialize with the guys. i actually skipped the gym on wednesday, mostly due to lazyness. wednesday night i hung out with davepud and darkhawk (joe4sale ended up there for a bit too) a little, which was like the good old times (when i say "good old times", i REALLY mean "old horrible times with traces of good in between")

thursday being thanksgiving, it was a mostly productive day of playing with my nephew and generally wasting some time, followed by a bit of halo at the end of the night with joe. but then there was friday. oh my. an intresting day indeed.

friday i got my new bed delivered to me, (yay to 3 foot tall bed!) , i went to the gym with joe, then we ended up hitting the booze so we could survive the CLASS REUNION that night. oh god. its only been 5 years... there should be more time. i won't get into the details of this night, just that i was pretty drunk for most of it. uhm... yea. thats it.

saturday was a bitter night for me, but aside from that i had some fun with midianlord, queenlerxst, dan and leon(?) playing poker. then we went to the diner and met like 5 other people for some grub, then about 4 came back home with me and talked till like 1am, then me and joe played the new game i got XIII for xbox for a bit killing each other a lot.

side note #2 - ran into truthmonkey42 at the diner on saturday night

yea, i got a new game again. i hate myself. i spend too much money on games. but yea, i got XIII, and its damn entertaining for me to shoot people in the head and watch them die like pig dogs.

today (sunday) was like.. yea. lazy day. played XIII for quite a while today.

that was my week. it was actually more bizzare then i'd care to say, so i won't.
